When coming to Cuba, you should be open-minded and soak up its singular atmosphere. Be prepared for the mozzies; wear long trousers in the evenings, bring anti-histamine tablets and a tube of Canestan for the bites.
The must-see destination has to be the exquisitely beautiful Viñales Valley. It is unique in its make-up and its tranquillity is such a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Havana.
My favourite memory is travelling to the east of the country with friends over Christmas, because I had the opportunity to see so much of the country in a short time and really appreciate how varied and special each place is.
