Separated by little more than 100 miles of water, both Miami and Cuba promise incredible nightlife, lively arts scenes, glorious year-round sunshine and vibrant Latin culture (70% of Miami's population in Hispanic). However, their opposed political systems and divergent histories make for stark differences and an interesting, exciting and enriching holiday combination. Blend Cuba’s colonial grandeur, cobbled streets and socialist slogans with Miami’s gleaming high-rises, sandy beaches and world-class shopping malls. Immerse yourself in the complicated history of the Revolution and wander Miami’s Little Havana, a neighbourhood of Cuban exiles. You'll return home with a deeper understanding of each destination along with some impressive salsa moves to show your friends.
