This will be followed by a trip to Hostal Conde de Villanueva, home to one of the country’s finest cigar shops, and Hotel Habana Libre where you can watch a live cigar-rolling demonstration and purchase some cigars. You’ll eat lunch at a lively local restaurant, followed by a few hours at leisure to rest or continue sightseeing in the city. At 7pm, you will be picked up from your hotel in a vintage American car for a one-hour tour, cruising through the grand streets of Miramar, visiting Che Guevara’s visage in Revolution Square and soaking up the atmosphere of Havana’s much-loved seafront road, the Malécon. You’ll enjoy dinner in a Havana hotspot known for its live music performances before heading to watch the iconic Tropicana cabaret.

Day 3 - Havana

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll enjoy a whole day exploring Havana with trips to its historic and atmospheric squares, one of Havana’s oldest and most famous cigar factories and the rum museum. Lunch is served at La Terraza de Cojimar, a favourite haunt of Ernest Hemingway, where you can feast on authentic Cuban dishes including freshly-caught fish. Refreshed and refuelled, it’s time to learn more about the famous American author with a visit to the Ernest Hemingway Museum as well as two of his drinking holes, Floridita and Bodeguita del Medio. Upon arrival, you will tour a tobacco factory and tobacco farm for an in-depth look at the entire cigar-making process. You’ll be served lunch at the farm before heading to nearby Viñales, arguably the most beautiful spot in the country, characterised by its vibrant green foliage, red-rust soil, towering mogotes and first-class tobacco crops. You will visit Hotel Loz Jazmines (featuring incredible views), a tobacco plantation and the Pre-History Mural. You will stay overnight in Viñales to soak up the region’s laidback atmosphere and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 - Viñales

You will have another day to explore stunning Viñales. You’ll start the day with a trip to Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave), an ancient indigenous dwelling rediscovered in 1920.
