Peak fishing season is from February to June, when all species are present in the area. Tarpon, bones, permit and jack will all be encountered during these months. The migratory tarpon, up to 800/100lbs (average 15/30lbs) are regularly spotted and shots at permit are very frequent. Our peak season is the best time to try the Gland Slam. Numerous Grand Slams are achieved each season as well as a few Super Grand Slams (Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and Snook).

Day-by-Day Program:
Day 1 - Friday: Welcome to Havana
- Arrival at Havana's Jose Marti International airport.
- Personalized welcome and assistance by our Cuba Direct representatives.
- Transfer to the Hotel in Havana (not included)
Day 2 - Saturday: Flight to Cayo Largo
- 5:00 am Meet in Hotel lobby for transfer to Cayo Largo
- 7:00 am Flight Havana/Cayo Largo
- 7:30 am Arrive in Cayo Largo, greeted by our representative
- Transfers to your hotel
- Free afternoon
- Night at Sol Club Cayo Largo hotel
Days 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 - Sunday to Friday: Full days Fishing
- 7:30 am wake-up call, breakfast
- 8:00 am, transfer to the fishing dock (5 min ride or less if leaving from Villa Marinera Lodge)
- Fishing full day with packed lunch (prepare your own at Sol Club Cayo Largo hotel and will be prepared at Villa Marinera)
- Return in the afternoon
- Transfer to accommodation Dinner
- Nights at Hotel Sol Club Melia Cayo Largo (included in package)

Day 9 - Saturday: Flight to Havana
- Wake-up (breakfast and lunch depending on plane schedule)
- Transfer to the airport
- Cayo Largo flight back to Havana local airport, possibility of extra day's extension.
- Night at 5-Start Hotel (included in package)
Day 10 - Sunday: Departure
- Morning at leisure in Havana
- Call taxi from hotel to Havana International airport (please call your own taxi, not included)
