Day-by-Day Program:
Day 1. Havana
Welcome at Havana International Airport and asistance by our driver-guide. Private transfer to the hotel. check-in at Inglaterra Hotel in Old Havana. 2 nights, BB.
Day 2. Havana Modern and Old Havana city tour.
The best ever tour of Havana: Modern and Old...The guided tour starts at 08:00 hrs - You will first enjoy a 1h walking tour along the Old Havana quarters including the most important squares and fortresses of the area. You will be picked up at the Plaza de Armas by guide/drive to take you to a 15 min photo visit to the Capitol building and then to a panoramic ride along the Havana sea wall drive. The next stop will be at the Maqueta de la Habana where you will receive an explanation of urban development of the city; the tour will continue with another panoramic ride along 5th avenue (Miramar) to Colon Cemetery which has more than 500 major mausoleums, chapels, and family vaults.
The tour will continue with a short visit to Plaza de la Revolucion and then you will be taken to Callejon de Hamel where you will receive an explanation of Afro Cuban cults in Cuban culture. This stop will be followed by a visit to a completely off-the-beaten track area of Havana called La Vibora including its parks and churches where we will talk about the architecture which developed here around the 1940-50's.
At noon, you will enjoy a Cuban meal at a private restaurant including meat, salad, dessert, coffee and a soft drink, juice or beer. Afterwards, the guide will show you the old neighbourhood called El Calvario and finally the Ernest Hemingway museum in the outskirts of the city to finish the tour taking you back to your hotel. (approx 6hrs of duration)

Day 3. Havana. Vinales excursion.
This morning we drive to Vinales (approx 2.5 hrs) starting at 08:00 hrs. Western Cuba is a favorite destination for visitors interested in nature tourism; there you can find the Vinales Valley, whose origin dates back to more than 300 million years ago, as an attraction for those who enjoy that tourist modality. According to experts, the Vinales Valley is exceptional scenery, in which its unique nature and the preservation of the environment blend with the agricultural work of men and women, especially in tobacco fields.
Include: stop in los Jazmines viewpoint, a short walk to the valley, visit to Mural de la Pre-historia, visit to Palenque de los Cimarrones, visit to Cueva del Indio, visit to one Tabacco house. Time to lunch. Return to hotel in Havana. (approx 8hrs of duration) Free night.
Day 4. Cienfuegos. Guama, Cueva de los peces and Giron excursions.
We leave in the morning to Cienfuegos city through Guama, Cueva de los Peces and Giron in the Zapata Peninsula. You will have the opportunities of visit the deposit of crocodiles, take a swim in the cenotes or pools created when the ceiling of the underground rivers collapsed. Late we visit the museum located in Giron dedicated to the infamous Bay of pigs invasion, where a US supported attack by Cuban exiles failed to overthrow the Cuban Revolution. Afterwards, we follow the trip to Cienfuegos City. Check-in at La Union hotel in Cienfuegos. 1 night, BB. (approx 8hrs of duration) Free night.
Day 5. Trinidad. City Tour, Valle de los Ingenios and Manaca Iznaga.
Early departure to Trinidad, Check-in at Las Cuevas hotel in Trinidad. 2 nights, BB. UNESCO World Heritage site with its original house facades and cobblestone streets from colonial times. There will be a visit to the Valle de los Ingenios watch point with an impressive view of the sugar cane plantations of the area. We could have a closer look to this area in the next stop in Manaca Iznaga with a panoramic tour in a steam train to one of the sugar mills and a visit to the Manaca Iznaga "Torre del Vigia" (watch tower) with more than 45.5 mts high watch point, the highest in the Latin American and Caribbean sugar area. It takes to climb 136 wooden steps to get to its hightst point. Free night.
Day 6. Trinidad. Topes de collantes
Early departure to Topes de Collantes. We will visit the Escambray Sierra, considered one of the three main mountain systems in Cuba this is the place where the Topes de Collantes Grand Natural Park is situated. The area includes a wide array of parks including El Cubano, Guanayara, Caburni, Codina, El Nicho and Reserva de Javira parks among others where you will discover an enormous diversity of flora, fauna as well as numerous, splendid and fascinating sites, you may choice one of them to visit according your preferents.
Some of the highest points are Caballete de Casas, Gavilanes, Loma de Banao, Caja de Agua and Pico Tuerto. Pico San Juan is considered the highest of all and raises approximately 3000 ft above sea level, standard temperature is approximately 21C.
Day 7. Tour ends. Havana. Via Santa Clara (Che's mausoleum)
Transfer to Havana via Santa CLara with stops at Che's mausoleum and the Tren Brindado. This was the location of probably the most fierceful battle fought by Che against Batista dictatorship. The trip continues to Havana airport to drop off the car and take the night flight to London.
Day 8: - Departure
Morning at leisure in Havana.
In the afternoon transfer to the Havana International airport.
